Rules-based trading systems guide all investment decisions for client accounts. Our models analyze intraday and daily price patterns across a range of markets, with the goal of identifying and exploiting short- or long-term mis-pricings in commodity markets.

Our program has multiple trading strategies. In our view, deploying substantively different systematic trading strategies takes advantage of different market conditions and helps to lower the volatility of returns.

Faulkner Capital Inc. is a member of the National Futures Association (NFA) and is registered with the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) as a Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA).

About the Principal

John Ryan Faulkner is the president of Faulkner Capital Inc. He is a member of the NFA and is registered with the CFTC as an Associated Person of Faulkner Capital Inc.

Prior to forming Faulkner Capital Inc., Mr. Faulkner was a proprietary trader at Lehman Brothers. He traded G10 and emerging market currencies, and relied on systematic trading strategies he developed to make all investment decisions. Mr. Faulkner began his career at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and also worked as a portfolio manager at the Central Bank of Chile.
